Prince plans three albums in 2009

Prince has plans to release 3 albums this year, 2009 on his own… without the help of a record label. Prince told the LA Times he was in “final negotiations” with a big US retailer to distribute his new music, which will be available online as well.

AC/DC Dedicates Music Therapy Room to Hospital

AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson is not completely “highway to hell,” he delivered an early Christmas gift to sick children at a Sarasota, FLa hospital by dedicating a music room on Monday. Roughly $20,000 for the room came from the John Entwistle Foundation which is a group founded in honor of the late bass player for The Who, AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Steve Luongo, the foundation’s director and former bandmate of Entwistle.

Last year they raised money for the foundation for this project from playing gigs.

The music therapy room will help children who are anxious about surgery and illness. The room includes an electronic drum kit, guitars, and keyboard, computer with recording software.

Womanizer Best Music Video of 2008

Fuse fans vote Britney Spears’ Womanizer best music video of 2008. The winner was announced by Grammy Nominated Singer/Songwriter Katy Perry on the Fuse Special “The Top 40 of 2008: The Good, The Bad & The Britney.

Britney’s video competed against 32 other artists in a tournament-sytle bracket on fule.tv.

OMG! Miley 16 and Gets Moms Porsche

OMG, LOL… Like Miley Cyrus turned 16 and got her moms hand-me-down Porsche.

“I do have a car. I took my mom’s old car,” she tells Extra. “I got the old car, which wasn’t so bad because it was a Porsche … It was a pretty good hand me down.”


Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough, Giving Up Dancing

Two-time winner Julianne Hough is leaving “Dancing with the Stars.” She wants to focus her attention on music and “you know, kind of be taken seriously a little bit” said Julianne.

Hough has released two country music albums this year and “music is where I wanna be” explains Julianne.
